Mechanical Systems Company LLC is a fully licensed mechanical and plumbing contractor based out of Memphis, TN focusing on commercial and industrial projects.

We are in search of an Experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team! We're looking for candidates who are interested in working locally, as well as candidates who are willing to travel inside and outside the state!

Primary Job Function: Install, alter, and repair sheet metal products and equipment ducts and hoods for HVAC systems utilizing blueprints, drawings, and work orders.

Work Hours: 40+ hours per week, Monday through Friday; occasional overtime may be required

Pay Scale: Up to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Required qualifications:

• Must pass drug and background screens
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• 3+ years of HVAC sheet metal experience
• Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems
• Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, troubleshooting and installation of all commercial systems
• Understand and apply all codes for commercial
• Exceptional Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices, and surroundings
• General knowledge of all HVAC systems, electrical, ability to read wiring diagrams
• Ability to travel inside and outside the state
• Ability to lift 50lb+, access crawlspace and attics, use ladders
• Ability to travel to job sites out of town
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
