Mechanical Systems Company in Memphis, TN, is growing, and we are looking for mechanical and technically oriented people to join our team. You will have an opportunity to start as a floater and work with every division of our company for three weeks to find out for yourself which trade you enjoy the most or go directly into a trade if you have experience and/or a strong desire for a single trade.

If you start as a floater, you will acquire basic mechanical skills & rotate through the following areas:

• Sheet metal field
• Sheet metal shop
• Construction plumbing
• Pipefitting
• Controls
• HVAC service
• HVAC installation
• Plumbing service

This position may require work with scaffolding and great heights!

Starting pay is $13.00 per hour, depending on experience

Work hours: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, occasional evenings and weekends as required

Required Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Must pass drug and background screens
• Desire to learn and willingness to put in the time to study trade
• Must be able to lift 50 lb. and be able to perform the physical aspects of the job (access crawlspaces and attics, use ladders)
• Must be able to work on scaffolds and great heights
• Experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC is highly desired
