We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Riding HVAC Superintendent to lead and oversee the troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of complex commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience, with a focus on ensuring the long-term reliability of mechanical systems. Position Summary: This senior-level position is responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex issues across a wide range of commercial HVAC equipment, such as boilers, chillers, rooftop units, mini-splits, VRF/VRV systems, air handlers, and more. In addition to core duties and project execution, the role focuses on system troubleshooting, optimization, and ensuring the long-term reliability of mechanical systems. A key aspect of this position is mentoring and training top-tier technicians (A and A+ level), leveraging extensive technical knowledge and hands-on experience to foster the development of highly skilled HVAC professionals and ensure continued excellence in service and problem-solving capabilities.
Pay Scale: $47 - $52 per hour depending on experience

Work Hours: 40+ hours per week, Monday to Friday, overtime as required
Qualification Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- HS diploma or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience of commercial/industrial HVAC service experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce
- Must possess knowledge the HVAC Systems, Electrical Schematics, blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and codes
- Must demonstrate skills in problem-solving, inspection, mathematics, brazing, and interpreting plans etc.
- EPA Universal, HazMat, & MSHA certifications
- OSHA 10 and 30 certifications
- Exceptional safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings
- Excellent computer skills (proficiency with MS Office)
- Ability to train and supervise others
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and spend prolonged periods of time standing/walking
Main Job Duties:
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing needs and expectations.
- Respond to emergency situations (on-call rotation) and troubleshoot HVAC systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols and read/troubleshoot electrical diagrams.
- Perform system start-ups, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
- Install, repair, and verify proper installation of refrigeration systems.
- Procure materials and ensure correct installation according to blueprints and codes.
- Operate machinery for system installations and repairs.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
- Document daily job status and service paperwork for the service manager.
- Diagnose and repair various HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and cooling towers.
